Roles & Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies for client and internal websites
  • Conduct detailed SEO audits, competitor research, and keyword analysis
  • Build comprehensive content and backlink strategies

On-Page & Off-Page SEO:

  • Optimize web content, internal links, site structure, and schema markup
  • Manage ethical link-building campaigns and off-page SEO activities
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams

Technical SEO:

  • Conduct technical audits (page speed, mobile responsiveness, indexing issues)
  • Work with developers to resolve technical SEO challenges
  • Ensure best practices for crawlability and site architecture

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, conversions, and overall SEO performance
  • Use SEO tools (GA, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest) to generate insights
  • Prepare monthly SEO reports for internal review and clients

Content & Market Research:

  • Identify content gaps, trends, and new opportunities
  • Collaborate with content writers for SEO-friendly blog and landing pages
  • Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices

Client Communication:

  • Present SEO plans, reports, and results to clients
  • Act as an SEO consultant for clients — guide them on best practices and growth opportunities

Team Collaboration & Mentoring:

  • Work closely with SEO executives, content writers, designers, and developers
  • Help train and mentor junior SEO team members when required

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in SEO (agency background preferred)
  • Deep understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
  • Proficient in SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Wix or other CMS
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS basics (advantageous)
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Analytical mindset — ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Passion for SEO, continuous learning, and staying ahead of trends
