Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance including timely filing of returns.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/client accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Prepare and process payroll entries and reimbursements in coordination with HR.
- Monitor cash flows, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for audits and financial reviews.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Proven work experience of 4-5 years in accounting or finance.
- Hands-on experience in Zoho Books is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC).
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
