BedR is India's first organized student accommodation marketplace, revolutionizing how students find PGs and hostels. We're building an asset-light PropTech platform that combines a digital booking experience with a SaaS dashboard for property owners. Currently focused on dominating the Mumbai market before expanding nationally.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Intern to work directly with our Head of Marketing in building BedR's go-to-market strategy from the ground up. This is not a typical internship where you'll be making presentations or doing busy work. You'll be executing real marketing campaigns, creating content that goes live immediately, and directly impacting our growth metrics.

Location: On-site in Mumbai (Required)

Duration: 3-6 months with potential for full-time conversion

Stipend: ₹10,000 second month onwards.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Content Creation & Social Media (40%)
• Script, shoot, and edit Instagram Reels showcasing Mumbai PG properties
• Create daily social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Write blog posts and SEO-optimized content about student housing in Mumbai
• Design social media graphics using Canva or similar tools
• Manage content calendars and posting schedules across platforms
• Engage with student communities on social media

Performance Marketing Support (25%)

• Assist in running Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns
• Monitor ad performance metrics and provide daily reports
• Create ad copy variations for A/B testing
• Track campaign budgets and spending efficiency
• Research and identify high-performing audience segments
• Help optimize landing pages for conversion

SEO & Content Marketing (20%)

• Research keywords for Mumbai student accommodation market
• Write SEO-friendly blog articles and location-specific guides

• Optimize website content for search engines

• Track organic traffic and keyword rankings

Partnership & Outreach (15%)

• Research Mumbai colleges and student organizations for partnerships
• Draft partnership proposals and outreach emails
• Coordinate with campus ambassadors
• Support influencer identification and outreach
• Help organize college campus activation events

What We're Looking For:

Must-Haves

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's/Master's degree (any field)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Comfortable creating short-form video content (Reels/Shorts)
• Basic design skills (Canva minimum, Figma is a plus)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Available for full-time on-site work in Mumbai
• Owns a smartphone with good camera for content creation

Good-to-Have:

• Understanding of social media platforms and what content works
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing or performance ads
• Experience running personal social media accounts with engagement
• Familiarity with Mumbai's geography and college areas
• Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
• Previous internship in marketing, content, or social media
• Understanding of student lifestyle and pain points

• Self-starter who doesn't need constant direction
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced startup environment
• Creative problem solver who can think on their feet
• Data-curious and willing to learn analytics
• Not afraid to get their hands dirty with execution work
• Comfortable being on camera or conducting property shoots

The Reality Check

This isn't a corporate internship with structured training programs. You'll be expected to figure things out, take initiative, and sometimes work on weekends during campaign launches. But if you want real startup experience and hands-on learning, this is it.

Compensation & Benefits

Stipend: First month: Unpaid during probation period and second month onwards ₹10,000/month.

Potential Conversion: High performers will be offered full-time roles
