As a Principle Software Developer (IC4) in our team, youll be responsible for, and lead efforts in, designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services of the semantic database for the next generation healthcare application. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long-term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a technical leader on the team, you will own the complete software development lifecycle, from design, development, testing, first-class monitoring, to production.

Java development experience is required and deep knowledge/experience in RDBMS, Vector DB, and Big Data technologies. Other recommended tools and technologies may include Rest APIs, Maven, Jenkins, among others. Hands-on Java developer with in-depth knowledge on JVM internals and performance tuning.

Demonstrated understanding of cloud-native architecture and experience with either AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is essential. Experience with security, identity, and access management concepts would be very valuable but is not required.

• Accountable for broad software design, code quality, and architecture decisions
• Lead and direct architecture discussions, design sessions, and code reviews for functional correctness, architectural maintainability, and performance
• Develop a long-term technical roadmap for the solution area
• Code for high-risk projects that have solution dependencies within and outside the current team
• Analyze, understand, and develop complex architectures, designs, and associated sub-systems
• Ability to understand someone elses complex code very quickly
• Ability to multi-task and deal with changing priorities
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as Development leads, Product Management, Operations, and Release Management to make, adopt, and communicate technical decisions and shape the development and delivery of software
