AM ProductionRole Overview

As a Production Manager, you will be a Mid Level Manager for an Investment Casting Factory located in Faridabad, Haryana. Your main responsibility will be to supervise daily production for the Lost Wax Process. This includes checking tooling, moulds, and ensuring that the production process follows the planned schedule while maintaining all quality SOPs. You will report to the Production Head, who will work closely with you to ensure all production requisites are met.

Qualification & Knowledge
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Prior Knowledge of Lost Wax Process
  • Basic Technical and Foundry Related Knowledge
  • Thorough Knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a production team with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility: Willingness to take on multiple roles and responsibilities to support the overall success of the production process
  • Communication Skills: Command over Hindi and understanding of Basic English Language
Responsibility Deliverables
  1. Production Planning based on Order Priority
  2. Raw Material, Tooling Checking and Sampling

Task & ActivitiesProduction Plan Based on Order Priority
  • Actively assist in creating an effective production plan for the Lost Wax Process every month.
  • Plan the Raw Material for the production planned for the month.
Raw Material, Tooling Checking and Sampling
  • Check Raw Materials and sample the same to ascertain optimum RM quality.
  • Check new toolings for accuracy and effectiveness.
Daily Production Monitoring
  • Guide labour to maintain clarity with regards to daily activities.
  • Ensure timely and efficient daily production.
  • Provide solutions and combat any breakdowns occurring during production.
  • Ensure all deadlines are efficiently met.
  • Ensure monthly production goals are attained with minimum rejections.
  • Engage and manage issues faced by the production staff/workers.
  • Proper storage and accounting of the moulds, castings & raw materials.
Quality Assurance
  • Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures throughout all levels of production to ensure the highest level of precision and consistency in all products.
  • Ensure the product has passed the quality test before handing it over for casting.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of the moulding and casting process, including quality control checks and production outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports to Senior Management on production status, quality issues, and process improvements.
