Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure APIM Engineer who will possess deep expertise in Azure API Management and modern DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation, security, performance, and scalable API lifecycle management in a cloud-native environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, deploy, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for APIM resourcesBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions,       or JenkinsConfigure API security mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, mTLS, and Azure AD authenticationSet up monitoring and logging using Grafana, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or ELK StackApply rate limiting, throttling, and policy enforcement for robust API governanceManage Azure networking for API endpoints, including load balancing and traffic managementOversee full API lifecycle management, versioning, documentation, and       governanceAutomate operations using PowerShell, Bash, and other scripting toolsOptimize API performance through caching, request routing, and failover strategies

Primary Skills Required:

Azure API Management (APIM) Design, configuration, deploymentTerraform IaC for APIM and Azure resourcesCI/CD Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / JenkinsAPI Security OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, mTLS, Azure ADMonitoring & Logging Grafana, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, ELKPolicy Management Rate limiting, throttling in APIMAzure Networking Load balancing, traffic routingAPI Lifecycle Versioning, governance, and best practicesAutomation Scripting with PowerShell and BashPerformance Optimization Caching, routing, and failover handling

Secondary Skills Required:

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in cloud/API engineering rolesStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment
