Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tandoor Commi1 at Sayaji Hotels Ltd, located in Goa, India. The Tandoor Commi1 will be responsible for assisting the head chef in preparing and cooking tandoori dishes. Day-to-day tasks include marinating ingredients, operating and maintaining the tandoor oven, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and assisting in inventory management and kitchen cleaning.
Qualifications
- Experience in preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, including marination techniques and tandoor oven operation.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and assist in various kitchen tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working in a hospitality environment is a plus.
- Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management.
