Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our growing technology team in Kolkata. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software applications.

The role primarily focuses on back-end development using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, with exposure to Svelte, JavaScript, and both SQL Server and NoSQL databases. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions, participate in code reviews, and ensure all applications meet best practices and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software applications.


• Build and optimize back-end systems using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.


• Develop and integrate APIs and services.


• Work with Svelte and JavaScript for front-end interaction when required.


• Design, develop, and optimize databases using SQL Server and NoSQL Databases.


• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.


• Participate in code reviews to ensure clean, secure, and maintainable code.


• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.


• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.


• Follow best software development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.


• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
  • Good working knowledge of JavaScript and Svelte (or willingness to learn Svelte).
  • Solid experience with SQL Server databases.
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, MVC architecture, and microservices (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and secure coding.
  • Experience with Git or version control systems.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
    • Experience in enterprise or healthcare software systems.
  • Open-source contributions or strong GitHub portfolio.
  • Knowledge in DICOM, HL7, FHIR

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 0–4 years of relevant software development experience (flexible for the right candidate).
