About Us

Sixteen Alpha (Jainsons Group's subsidiary) is engaged in research and strategy development in the financial markets. We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern with strong coding skills and financial knowledge to join our team at our Barakhamba Road, New Delhi office.

Role Overview

This internship provides exposure to real-world financial research and strategy development. The role requires a blend of programming ability and financial knowledge, making it ideal for candidates who want to work at the intersection of finance and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on financial instruments (equities, derivatives, etc.).
  • Assist in building and testing financial models using market data.
  • Write and maintain efficient code (preferably in Python) for data analysis and visualization.
  • Support the team in strategy evaluation and reporting.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Strong programming skills (Python preferred).
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • Prior coding/finance-related project experience (academic, personal, or professional).
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Very Good to Have

  • Familiarity with quantitative finance concepts.
  • Knowledge of databases or handling large datasets.
  • Prior project experience with machine learning or data science.
