We are looking for Vulnerability Analyst with
2+ years
of experience to be based out of
Mangalore
office in India and be part of our growth story.

Experience And Tools

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in vulnerability management or a similar cybersecurity role.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as:

  • Qualys

  • Nexpose / Rapid7
  • Flexera

Analytical Skills And Reporting

  • Strong analytical thinking skills – ability to interpret vulnerability data, assess risk, and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization, and automation features.
  • Ability to create clear, structured technical and executive-level reports on vulnerability status and remediation progress.
  • Experience in presenting findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Process Management And Standards

  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices, especially around incident, problem, and change management.
  • Ability to collaborate with system owners, infrastructure teams, and security teams to escalate and remediate vulnerabilities.

Communication And Collaboration

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – ability to explain complex technical topics in a simple and clear way.
  • Experience working closely with different teams (security, infrastructure, application support) and helping them work towards common goals.

Additional Skills

  • Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
  • Basic understanding of operating system security (Windows, Linux).
  • Experience with data automation or integrating scan tool outputs via API or data exports.
  • Working knowledge of the CrowdStrike Falcon or similar endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the vulnerability management process for Linux and Windows systems across 80+ domains and 3,500+ virtual machines.
  • Ensure continuous reduction of security vulnerabilities through structured remediation processes, data analysis, and close collaboration with IT teams.
  • Monitor and analyze vulnerabilities detected in Qualys, assess risk levels, and prioritize remediation activities accordingly.
  • Collaborate with IT engineers and infrastructure teams to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Actively manage and continuously improve vulnerability dashboards in Qualys, ensuring clear visibility of vulnerability status, trends, and remediation progress.
  • Manage Jira dashboards related to vulnerability management; enhance their structure to support tracking, reporting, and prioritization.
  • Handle vulnerability-related tickets in Jira, including creation, assignment, status tracking, escalation, and closure.
  • Prepare and present vulnerability reports for internal stakeholders, including monthly overviews of trends, risks, and progress against remediation goals.
  • Generate and distribute monthly coverage reports for CrowdStrike and Qualys agents, identifying coverage gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as a single point of contact between the central security team and the infrastructure team, aligning technical remediation activities with security objectives.
  • Support and coordinate with local security coordinators across multiple organizational units to ensure consistent vulnerability management practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the vulnerability management process, including automation, reporting, and cross-team coordination.
  • Ensure clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders regarding remediation timelines, risk exceptions, and upcoming vulnerability-related initiatives.
