Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echo Technician with 2 years of experience to join our healthcare team. The Echo Technician will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. The role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Echocardiography Procedures
  • Assist in transoesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), stress echo, and other advanced echo procedures if required.
  • Patient Care & Preparation
  • Explain the procedure to patients and address any concerns.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for echocardiographic tests.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Technical & Equipment Handling
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography machines and related diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform regular equipment checks and report technical issues.
  • Ensure cleanliness, calibration, and readiness of machines.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Record and analyze echocardiographic data.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, test results, and reports.
  • Assist cardiologists in reviewing and interpreting findings.
  • Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff.
  • Support other diagnostic procedures as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Degree in Cardiac Technology, Echocardiography, or related field.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in performing echocardiograms.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy.
  • Basic computer knowledge for handling digital records
