Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at Gamut HR Solutions for a full-time position based in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will have a mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in site supervision within the construction industry. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating various construction activities to ensure project delivery meets quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction sector is required to be considered for this position.
  • Proven experience in site safety management to ensure compliance with safety regulations is a mandatory skill.
  • Ability to coordinate projects effectively, ensuring timely completion, is crucial to the success in this role (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in materials management to ensure the supply of required construction materials is always available (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling to optimize project timelines and reduce potential delays is a required skill.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate team members towards achieving project goals effectively.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading to understand and implement design specifications accurately during construction.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse teams including contractors, engineers, and clients efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations at the site to ensure work is carried out in accordance with plans and safety standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage the supply and inventory of construction materials and ensure non-disruptive availability on site.
  • Resolve site issues promptly by employing problem-solving skills and making informed decisions in real-time.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the site team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders to deliver updated progress reports and address concerns.
