Role Overview

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR policies, employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance activities. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process (sourcing, screening, scheduling, onboarding).
  • Facilitate smooth induction and orientation of new employees.

2. HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management.
  • Address employee queries and grievances promptly and professionally.
  • Support in performance management and appraisal process.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and HR compliance.

3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Assist in monthly payroll processing and coordinate with finance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).

4. Learning & Development

  • Support in planning and executing employee training programs.
  • Track participation and evaluate training effectiveness.

5. Engagement & Culture

  • Organize employee engagement activities, celebrations, and team events.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture.

6. ISO & Documentation Support

  • Maintain HR documentation aligned with ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, and 27001 requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or tech setup.
  • Knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and payroll processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools (e.g., greytHR preferred).
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
