Description

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Continuously monitor critical business and technical processes using dashboards and monitoring tools.

Analyze system alerts, logs, and performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks or failures.

Investigate and resolve process issues, escalating incidents appropriately to ensure timely resolution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Functional, Support, Engineering, and DevOps — to enhance system reliability and uptime.

Develop, document, and maintain robust incident response and troubleshooting protocols.

Enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities through automation and scripting.

Partner with development teams to embed observability and monitoring best practices into new and existing applications.

Maintain detailed documentation on configurations, processes, and resolution procedures.

Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote operational excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion SaaS technologies and products.

Experience monitoring and troubleshooting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar cloud platforms.

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Observability tools and BIP Report development.

Knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including OAuth, RBAC, and policy-based access control.

Experience integrating and troubleshooting SQL/NoSQL databases.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel for reporting and documentation.

Good-to-Have:

Functional exposure to Oracle ERP, SCM, or HCM applications.

Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) adapters and integrations.

Understanding of cloud security principles, lifecycle management, and deployment practices.

Awareness of Docker, Kubernetes, or service mesh technologies.

Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and result interpretation.

Experience developing automation scripts or custom monitoring solutions.
