What You'll Do:
- Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain modern Java-based services with Angular or React front ends, powering mission-critical enterprise solutions.
- Modernize & Innovate: Lead the transformation of legacy systems—improving reliability, scalability, and observability using the latest cloud-native technologies.
- Own the Cloud: Build and operate Java services (Java 11+), leveraging Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and AWS to deliver high-availability, high-throughput platforms.
- Collaborate & Lead: Work closely with product, UX, and engineering teams in Agile sprints, shaping platform capabilities and mentoring peers.
- Champion Resilience: Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, driving proactive improvements for platform uptime and reliability.
- Code with Excellence: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and set the standard through thoughtful code reviews and technical leadership.
- Drive Performance: Continuously optimize for speed and scale, refactoring and innovating as you go.
- Document & Share: Ensure clarity and knowledge sharing by documenting architectures, processes, and best practices.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven Java Expertise: Proven experience with Java 11+ and building scalable, distributed backend systems.
- Frontend Acumen: Skilled in building robust, maintainable UIs with Angular or React.
- Cloud & DevOps Savvy: Hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, S3, DynamoDB, VPC, ECS/EKS, SQS), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Production Experience: Comfortable maintaining large distributed systems in live environments.
- Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality software.
- Database knowledge, including experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Team Player: Collaborative, communicative, and passionate about mentoring and learning.
- Bonus Points: Experience leveraging AI tools to boost developer productivity.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
