Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) for wastewater treatment systems (ETP, RO, ZLD).
  • Perform process calculations, mass balance, energy balance, and hydraulic design.
  • Select equipment such as pumps, blowers, membranes, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and datasheets for procurement.
  • Provide process engineering support during project execution, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure designs comply with environmental regulations, safety norms, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and project execution teams.
  • Support R&D for improving treatment efficiency, sustainability, and cost optimization.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes:
    ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), RO (Reverse Osmosis), ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with process design software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Eligibility

  • Qualification:
    B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Environmental.
  • Experience:
    0–3 years (freshers with strong academic background in wastewater treatment can also apply).
