As a Java Full Stack Lead Engineer at Citibank, you will play a crucial role in developing scalable and high-performance web applications and microservices. Your responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Spring Boot and Angular. You will also be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable microservices deployed in Docker containers orchestrated with Kubernetes. - Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications - Work closely with product managers, architects, and QA to define and deliver high-quality software - Guide and mentor a team of developers through code reviews and technical problem-solving - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives Your technical skills and experience should include: years of professional experience in software development - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS - 2+ years of experience in a technical/leadership role - Experience with microservices, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, Oracle databases, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. AWS certifications and exposure to event-driven systems will be considered a plus.
