Associate Director

About the role:
As an Associate Director – Functional Pre-Sales at Darwinbox, you will be at the forefront of shaping enterprise HCM transformation journeys for our most strategic customers. Leveraging deep functional expertise in HR, a strong consultative mindset, and comprehensive knowledge of the Darwinbox platform, you will lead the functional sales engagement—crafting solutions, influencing buying decisions, and driving functional wins throughout the sales cycle.

You will be the trusted advisor who connects business needs with product capabilities—leading discovery sessions, workshops, proof of concepts (POCs), and solution demonstrations that articulate the differentiated value of Darwinbox in competitive, high-stakes enterprise evaluations.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders to gather, understand, and document complex HCM business requirements and processes.
• Design end-to-end functional solutions aligned to customer needs, leveraging Darwinbox's capabilities and showcasing them through compelling demos, POCs, and workshops.
• Develop and communicate value-based solution narratives and business cases that resonate with both business and IT decision-makers.
• Collaborate with sales, product, implementation, marketing, and value teams to build winning value propositions and industry-specific solution messaging.
• Lead RFP responses and solution design for functional and implementation aspects, ensuring timely, differentiated, and well-aligned submissions.
• Own and execute enterprise-grade POCs across multiple HCM modules—drive configurations, conduct evaluation workshops, manage documentation, and secure functional buy-in.
• Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders—including CHROs, CIOs, and transformation leaders—guiding them through the evaluation journey.
• Research and articulate Darwinbox's advantages over legacy ERP systems and competing SaaS platforms in specific industry contexts.
• Drive continuous learning and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Darwinbox's evolving product roadmap, industry best practices, and enterprise HR trends.
• Serve as a key partner in shaping the go-to-market strategy for strategic accounts and industry verticals.

Requirement:

• 10–15 years of experience in HCM functional consulting, pre-sales, or implementation in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in value-based, consultative selling of HCM or SaaS solutions to large enterprises.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end HR processes (core HR, talent, payroll, performance, etc.) across industries.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and solutioning abilities in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives and senior business stakeholders.
• Strong experience in building HCM implementation strategies and roadmaps.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience in project management or consulting roles is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project (MPP) or similar tools is advantageous.
