Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust
    ETL/ELT data pipelines
    for large-scale data processing.
  • Develop optimized data models and transformations using Snowflake, Redshift, and Databricks.
  • Write complex, high-performance queries using
    Advanced SQL

  • Develop scalable data processing solutions using Python.
  • Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Partner with analytics teams to deliver reporting and dashboards using Tableau.
  • Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of cloud-based data platforms.
  • Ensure best practices in data security, quality, governance, and compliance.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive data engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders for data-driven decision making.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Python
    for data engineering.
  • Expertise in
    Advanced SQL
    (window functions, CTEs, query optimization).
  • Extensive experience with
    Snowflake
    and
    Amazon Redshift
    .
  • Strong experience with
    Databricks / Apache Spark
    .
  • Hands-on experience building
    ETL/Data Pipelines
    .
  • Strong dashboarding and data visualization experience using
    Tableau
    .
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience with Airflow, dbt, or other orchestration tools.
  • Streaming data exposure (Kafka, Kinesis).
  • CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code experience.
