SAP PP QM lead

Job Summary:

• As a Senior SAP PPQM Consultant or Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve production efficiency and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead configuration and implementation of SAP PP components: Work Centers, Routings, BOMs, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
• Lead configuration and implementation of SAP QM components: Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Notifications, Audit Management, and Certificates.
• Design and optimize production planning processes aligned with business goals.
• Support discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing environments.
• Define inspection plans, sampling procedures, and defect recording processes.
• Integrate QM with PP, MM, and SD for end-to-end quality control.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP) and regulatory requirements.
• Manage SAP PPQM project teams and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and UAT with business users.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements and reports.
• Provide post-go-live support and resolve complex issues.
• Document functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in Agile and Waterfall environments

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
