SYSTRA India's comprehensive know-how and expertise in Railways provides a wide spectrum of solutions for any challenge (Building a new rail link, doubling the capacity, gauge conversion, upgrading a network, improving the performance of existing lines, etc.).

Our extensive experience encompasses, Bridges, station buildings, Depots, Earthwork & Track Works, Power Supply and Transmission, Signaling & Telecommunications, Rolling Stock, Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc.

Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of MEP Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties
  • Develop layouts and specifications for HVAC, electrical distribution, fire detection & suppression, water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with overall metro infrastructure.
  • Incorporate modern technologies such as energy-efficient HVAC, LED lighting, and water conservation systems
  • Ensure designs meet Indian and international codes (IS, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE) and metro rail guidelines.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to validate performance and safety.
  • Provide technical inputs, compliance matrices, and design documentation for bid submission.
  • Review proposals, evaluate technical solutions, and monitor delivery schedules for MEP equipment and services.
Profile/Skills
  • Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 25 years of expereince in Railway or Railway related industry
  • Minimum 5 years of expereince in urban rail based passenger carrying system
