Housekeeping Manager_HIEX-MAATP

Key Responsibilities: Operational Responsibilities:

Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring adherence to brand and cleanliness standards.

Plan and allocate work assignments to team members, including room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to maintain high cleanliness and maintenance standards.

Ensure lost and found items are handled and recorded properly as per policy.

Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure timely room readiness.

Oversee the effective use and control of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linen inventories.

Maintain accurate records for room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and maintenance reports.

People Management:

Recruit, train, and develop the housekeeping team in line with IHG "True Hospitality" standards.

Conduct daily briefings and regular performance evaluations.

Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.

Ensure compliance with grooming and uniform standards.

Brand Standards & Quality:

Ensure all cleaning procedures follow IHG Way of Clean standards and brand guidelines.

Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Maintain high hygiene and sanitation levels across all areas of the hotel.

Support Quality and Brand Audits, ensuring continuous improvement and readiness.

Financial & Inventory Control:

Manage housekeeping budgets and control operating expenses effectively.

Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and usage of cleaning chemicals and amenities.

Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting for the housekeeping department.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.

Conduct regular training on safety procedures, chemical handling, and emergency response.

Report and address any potential safety hazards immediately.
