Commis - Indian/ Halwai

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis to join our team at Oberoi Rajgarh Palace in the Hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in Indian cuisine, particularly in Halwai.

Roles and Responsibility

• Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including starters, main courses, and desserts.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commis in an Indian or similar cuisine establishment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred.
