Job Description
As a Java Developer at Digital Placement, you will be responsible for hands-on coding and development primarily focused on the Positions and Trade Capture platform. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating global testing and scheduling application rollouts, contributing to the improvement of the DevOps CI/CD Pipelines and Strategic Architecture, troubleshooting production issues, and proposing strategic solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or substantial practical experience of software delivery at an advanced level
Job Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot based application development
  • Experience with Caching solutions and NoSQL databases (desirable but not mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with Oracle, Sybase, or MS SQL
  • Cloud experience with Micro Services and Containerization is a plus
  • Test-driven development and adherence to firm's minimum development standards
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Agile Development, and Software lifecycle
  • Proficiency with Unix or Linux scripting
