Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist located in Chennai. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, performing machining and milling operations, and ensuring all work adheres to quality standards. The CNC Machinist will also perform routine maintenance on machinery and contribute to the efficiency and safety of the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machining to manufacture precision components
  • Experience with Milling operations and handling CNC machinery
  • Knowledge of Quality Control processes to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
  • Familiarity with operating, calibrating, and maintaining various types of Machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus
