Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in PHP, Python, and AWS to architect and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will guide a high-performing engineering team, enforce best practices, and drive technical excellence across projects. Insurance domain knowledge is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and oversee the development of full-stack applications using PHP and Python.
  • Define scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across backend, frontend, and cloud environments.

  • Drive CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker) for efficient delivery.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or architectural role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Git.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architecture and microservices design.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Exposure to frontend technologies (React, ) is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Insurance domain experience is highly preferred.
