Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Database Developer with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL/T-SQL to design, develop, and optimize database solutions. The role involves working on database architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, and collaborating closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code for applications and enhancements
  • Design and implement database architecture for new and existing applications
  • Create and manage data models, SSAS cubes, and optimize queries for performance
  • Define strategies for partitioning, archiving, and application data maturity models
  • Review queries and database objects created by other developers for adherence to best practices and performance standards
  • Conduct impact analysis for new requirements on existing applications and recommend optimal solutions
  • Collaborate with database administrators, application analysts, and business users for estimations and requirement gathering
  • Engage in proactive remediation of code quality, security, and framework-related issues

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in PL/SQL, SQL/T-SQL, data modeling, SSAS, and cubes
  • Proven experience in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with data lakes and large-scale data handling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with partitioning and archiving strategies
  • Exposure to advanced database performance monitoring tools
