Experience: 7-10 Years

Position: Mobile Automation Testing Engineer

Skills Required: Selenium, Appium, Java

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks for mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and Java, along with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and Agile processes.

Note:- one should have experience in creating from scratch, who knows end to end starting from coding on daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications.
  • Create, enhance, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and Java.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team for timely resolution.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
  • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools).
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 710 years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on mobile automation.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Java.
  • Good understanding of mobile testing concepts, device debugging, and testing tools.
  • Experience in developing hybrid automation frameworks (Page Object Model, Data-driven, Keyword-driven, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of TestNG, Maven/Gradle, and Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
  • Knowledge of performance testing for mobile applications.
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
