HVAC Desgine

An HVAC Design & Drafting Engineer creates technical drawings, designs, and calculations for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and code compliance. Responsibilities include performing load calculations, selecting equipment, developing duct and piping layouts using CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit, preparing Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and collaborating with architects and project teams to deliver sustainable solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:

• System Design & Calculations: Perform detailed heating/cooling load calculations and design ductwork, piping, and other HVAC system components.
• Equipment Selection: Select appropriate HVAC equipment, such as chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fans, and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, based on project needs.
• Drafting & Modeling: Develop detailed schematics, layouts, and blueprints for HVAC systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD and Revit.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), design documentation, and maintain accurate records of all work.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other project consultants to integrate HVAC designs into the overall building project.
• Site Visits: Visit sites to gather inputs, assess requirements, and conduct quality checks during different project stages.
• Problem Solving: Address technical challenges related to air quality, energy efficiency, and system installation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), HAP, or Trane Trace for load calculations, and knowledge of HVAC principles and standards.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with project teams and clients.
• Project & Time Management: Skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:Strong ability to analyze technical problems and develop creative solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,283.51 per month
