Job Summary:

The Information Security Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding Porch's digital assets and reputation against security breaches, cyber-attacks, and unauthorized access. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Porch Group Information Systems.

As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and advancing security measures to protect Porch's cloud workloads, identities, networks, endpoints, and data. You will manage the security team's alert queue – analyzing and escalating security incidents appropriate, and executing and maturing security procedures across multiple business units. The Security Analyst will spend significant time collaborating and working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Porch's security policy, compliance requirements, and communicating and remediating security findings.

What You Will Do As A Security Analyst:

● Manage the Information Security Ticket Queue, investigate security alerts, ensure requests are resolved or escalated as required

● Completing Customer Cyber Security Questionnaires.

● Conducting third party risk management assessments

● Maintaining, updating, and executing procedures such as Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing procedures.

●Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

● Assisting the team with annual compliance initiatives such the annual risk assessment.

 ● Help maintain and advance our general security programs and initiatives such as Cyber Security Training and awareness.

● Leverage security tooling such as EDR, email security, SIEM, and other tooling  as necessary.

 ● Working with Business Unit security contacts to communicate, track, and remediate identified security findings and gaps.

● Developing and communicating security reports to key stakeholders.

What You Will Bring as A Security Analyst

● Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or four years of equivalent work experience)

● 2+ years of prior experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or related cyber security functions required.

● Professional certifications (Security+, CEH, CySA+) preferred but not required

● Technical cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are desired but not required

● Proficiency in analyzing findings from security tools (EDR, SIEM, cloud security tooling, email security, IDP, network, and application security), along with the ability to deliver technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders, is highly desired.

●Enjoys working independently but is collaborative in nature, able to effectively engage with diverse teams across multiple business units.

● Brings a can-do attitude each day with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

● Ability to connect and build positive relationships across diverse teams and business units.

 ● Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.

● Strong technical aptitude to learn new technologies and platforms.

● Understanding of cyber security frameworks such as NIST and CIS is desired

● Experience with cloud security principles and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desired.

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

● Excellent written and communication skills in English language.

● Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations- EST Overlap (Eastern Standard Time).

● Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download| 10 Mbps upload.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member 

Pay Range*: 1,012,500 INR- 1,417,500 INR Annually
