Cypress Testing

DSRC is seeking an experienced Software Tester with a strong emphasis on Cypress JavaScript.The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of industry experience and demonstrate exceptional domain expertise in payment processing and e-commerce platforms.

Location: Chennai/Remote

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document testing processes, create test reports, and contribute to quality assurance procedures. Design, write, and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress with Javascript/ Typescript.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support agile release cycles.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
  • Log, prioritize, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, actively participating in daily scrum meetings and sprint reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Cypress.
  • Atleast 2 years of hands-on experience in Cypress
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in using defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
