In this role, you will handle core accounting responsibilities including maintaining financial statements, managing AP/AR, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate monthly closing. You will also support payroll processing, sales tax filings, compliance activities, and assist CPAs during tax season. A key part of this role involves directly communicating with US clients to address queries, provide updates, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all tasks.
Requirements
*Key Responsibilities*
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent US accounting software
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, general ledger, and supporting documentation
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy
- Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and reviews
- Process payroll, sales tax filings, and client-specific compliance tasks as needed
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure clean, updated financial records
- Assist CPAs during tax season with reports, documentation, and reconciliations
- Communicate proactively with US clients to address questions and ensure smooth delivery

- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or other US accounting platforms
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial statements, and reconciliation processes
- Ability to manage AP/AR, month-end closing, and compliance reporting with accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client accounts
- Strong communication skills and ability to confidently interact with international clients
- High attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to delivering error-free work
- Ability to support tax season workflows efficiently and collaborate with CPAs
