Job Title: Manager - Ethical Hacking and Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)

Experience: 7+ years, with at least 2-3 years in a client-facing advisory consulting role and managing a medium-sized team.

Preferred Certifications: CEH, ECSA, OSCP, CISSP, CCSK, OCSE, CCSP, AWS Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Penetration Testing: Conduct penetration testing on IT infrastructure, web applications, mobile platforms, and Red teaming exercises.
  • Security Research: Stay updated with the latest security threats, APTs, and malware. Apply this knowledge to enhance security assessments.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on security tests, including preparation, testing, and recommendations. Collaborate with stakeholders to address system vulnerabilities.
  • Team Training: Mentor and train team members on advanced cybersecurity tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Client Engagement: Manage client relationships, understand their security needs, and provide tailored security solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify business opportunities, write proposals, and respond to client RFPs/RFIs.

Desired Skill Set:

  • IT Security Standards and Frameworks: Proficient in OWASP, NIST, CIS.
  • Security Risks: Deep understanding of security risks in networks and application platforms.

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Information security, network security, Windows and UNIX/Linux security.

  • Web and mobile application security, Cloud platforms.
  • Manual penetration testing and application security testing (Web, Mobile & ERP [SAP]).

  • Familiarity with penetration testing tools like Kali Linux, Burpsuite, Metasploit, Core-Impact, AppScan, WebInspect, SSLScan, Soap UI Pro, SonarQube, Qualys, Nikto, Nessus, nmap, sqlmap, OWASP ZAP.

  • Database Testing: Experience with MySQL, Oracle, NoSQL.

  • Cyber Security Management: Knowledge of cyber analytics, security intelligence platforms, and threat intelligence frameworks.
  • Security Technologies: Understanding of end point security, perimeter security, advanced threat protection, malware defense, and security management.

Additional Skills:

  • Technical Writing: Ability to document and communicate complex security issues and solutions effectively.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in managing delivery teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Security Assessments: Expertise in performing web application security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities like SQL injections, XSS, CSRF, and more
