Job Title : Machine Assembly & Maintenance Engineer

Experience Required : 2 – 4 Years

Work Location : Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai

Industry : SPM Machine Manufacturing

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Machine Assembly & Maintenance Engineer with solid experience in assembling SPM machinery and performing on-site machine maintenance. The ideal candidate must understand mechanical drawings, perform precision drilling/tapping, and ensure complete machine build quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret machine assembly drawings / mechanical diagrams correctly
  • Perform machine assembly using provided materials and components
  • Execute mechanical drilling, tapping, fitting and alignment works
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting and rectification of machines
  • Perform site visits for installation, maintenance and service support when required
  • Coordinate with design and production teams during build and testing stages
  • Ensure assembly accuracy, safety standards and timeline compliance

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience in SPM machine assembly (mandatory)
  • Basic understanding of SPM machine concepts & functions
  • Strong mechanical knowledge (fitting, pneumatic/hydraulic understanding is a plus)
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings / engineering diagrams
  • Knowledge in drilling, tapping and finishing operations
  • Ability to handle customer site visits for maintenance/support
  • Good problem-solving, discipline, and team coordination skills

Qualification

  • Diploma / BE in Mechanical or related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in SPM / Machine Assembly field

Employment Details

  • Working Days : 6 Days / Week
  • Timings : 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Benefits : Attendance Incentive provided per monthly
