Key Responsibilities:

1. Command Line Operations :

  • Perform daily system tasks using the Linux command line interface.
  • Monitor system processes, resources, and operational health.

2. File System Management :

  • Manage disk partitions, mount points, and storage configurations.
  • Monitor and optimize storage usage, including setting permissions and managing access.

3. User and Group Administration :

  • Create, manage, and remove user and group accounts.
  • Assign appropriate access levels and maintain security policies related to user access.

4. System Configuration and Maintenance :

  • Configure system settings such as hostname, timezone, and locale.
  • Manage system services and ensure systems start correctly on boot.
  • Maintain system stability through regular updates and performance tuning.

5. Networking :

  • Configure network settings including IP addresses, routing, and DNS resolution.
  • Monitor network connectivity and troubleshoot network-related issues.
  • Maintain network security configurations and access controls.

6. Software and Package Management :

  • Install, update, and remove software packages as needed.
  • Ensure systems are running the required versions of software and dependencies.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and administration practices.
  • Experience managing users, file systems, and system settings in a Linux environment.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and system security.
  • Proficiency in writing shell scripts to automate tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system and network issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to system reliability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250, ₹320,000.00 per year
