SAP BRIM CM (Convergent Mediation) Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BRIM CM (Convergent Mediation) Consultant to join our Telecom team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying solutions on the Convergent Mediation platform while ensuring alignment with SAP BRIM best practices. The consultant will play a key role in supporting billing mediation requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in billing models. In addition to hands-on technical work, this role may involve team training, mentoring, and auditing system integrator deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Convergent Mediation workflows based on business requirements.
  • Administer and maintain the SAP Convergent Mediation platform, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Audit system integrator configurations and ensure compliance with SAP BRIM best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new billing and mediation models.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and code-related issues.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to team members.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for mediation workflows and integrations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Deliver regular progress and status updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying workflows in SAP Convergent Mediation (SAP CM).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BRIM architecture, including Convergent Mediation, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, Subscription Order Management, and Billing & Revenue Innovation Management.
  • Proficiency in APL (Analysis Programming Language).
  • Proven Telecom industry experience, with at least one end-to-end SAP BRIM CM implementation.
  • Experience with network integration workflows and process integration workflows.
  • 3+ years of database design and scripting experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Good to Have Skills

  • Prior experience in team leadership or mentoring.
  • Exposure to cloud-based SAP BRIM deployments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.
