Faculty Hospitality

JD Tourism Faculty Member

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Tourism Faculty Member to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, developing course materials, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in Tourism, Travel Management, and Hospitality Operations.
• Design and update lesson plans, course outlines, and study materials in line with academic standards.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and field visits.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Guide students in internships, industry projects, and research work.
• Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, educational tours, and guest lectures.
• Maintain and enhance subject expertise through continuous learning and professional development.
• Contribute to departmental administration, academic audits, and accreditation processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Tourism Management / Travel & Tourism / Hospitality Management (NET/Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching or industry experience in tourism or related fields.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with industry trends, travel operations, and destination management.
• Ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods and practical exposure.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems (LMS).
• Experience with curriculum development and research.
• Industry exposure to tour operators, airlines, or hotel management will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
