Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design and Estimation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems in compliance with industry standards and preparing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:Design Responsibilities:

  • Perform HVAC load calculations using software such as HAP, TRACE, or Carrier E20.
  • Design HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment selection in compliance with relevant standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
  • Develop detailed HVAC layouts using AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil, electrical, and plumbing engineers to ensure integrated designs.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather field data for design validation.

Estimation Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and BOM (Bill of Materials) based on drawings and specifications.
  • Analyze project specifications and tender documents to determine project scope and costing requirements.
  • Solicit and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HVAC design and estimation.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with BIM coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional site visits.
  • Collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹45,000.00 per month
