Position Summary

We at ITEL are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Project Officer to lead and oversee the implementation and management of our Climate Technology initiatives.
The ideal candidate will drive the initial ideation, come up with new ideas, coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams, manage project scope, and execute strategies specifically across various climate-focused technical domains.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as
    the main catalyst
    for new ideas and technology solutions. Actively participate in
    the initial R&D phase to define, and vet
    promising new Climate Tech projects before they enter full-scale development.
  • Assist Team Leads and Principal Investigators in
    coordinating
    the logistical requirements for Climate Tech project activities, ensuring smooth operations within the R&D cycle. Serve as a primary point of contact for routine communication
  • Track project progress against established milestones, identifying and escalating potential blocks or delays across technical and non-technical teams, specifically related to climate solutions development.
  • Prepare internal and external reports, including progress summaries, updates, and technical documentation required for the project and grant compliance.
  • Actively seek out and engage with industries, startups, and academic institutions that can collaborate on or enhance our Climate Tech initiatives (e.g., sustainable energy, carbon capture, water management).

Qualifications and Skills

· Education:
Mandatory Graduate degree (Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration).
