Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cypress Automation Tester to join our team at iAgami Technologies. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Bangalore Urban. The successful candidate will have expertise in test automation frameworks and familiarity with both Cypress and Playwright tools. The role requires strong JavaScript skills and comprehensive experience in executing end-to-end testing strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in JavaScript is mandatory for this role to script test cases efficiently and interact with various web applications.
  • Cypress proficiency is a mandatory skill, essential for creating robust test scenarios that enhance application reliability.
  • Experience with Playwright (Mandatory skill) for testing applications across different browser contexts and environments.
  • Strong foundation in test automation including designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Experience with API Testing and validation to ensure interfaces function seamlessly across various systems.
  • Knowledge of Git for source control enabling effective collaboration and version management.
  • Expertise in executing end-to-end testing, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of system functionalities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment and adapt to continuous process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an efficient test automation strategy utilizing Cypress and Playwright tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements for better test coverage.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of applications to ensure consistency in user experiences across platforms.
  • Conduct thorough API testing to confirm interface stability and data integrity between systems.
  • Manage and maintain the automation codebase using Git, ensuring quality and version control oversight.
  • Coordinate with development teams to identify and resolve potential issues early in the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and shared understanding of test approaches.
  • Regularly update and refine testing procedures to align with emerging technologies and practices.
