Overview: The IT Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in the organization by managing the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services. They are responsible for ensuring that the organization's IT needs are met through strategic sourcing and efficient procurement processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand their procurement requirements
  • Research potential vendors and evaluate their products and services
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to obtain the best prices and service levels
  • Manage the procurement process from purchase requisition to delivery
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement best practices
  • Monitor and report on procurement KPIs
  • Coordinate with finance and legal teams for contract reviews and approvals
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in IT procurement or purchasing
  • Strong understanding of procurement regulations and processes
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in using procurement and ERP software
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed procurement decisions
  • Good understanding of IT products and services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Certifications in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
