JOB DESCRIPTION

P1: PERL development skills with good knowledge of Python, TSQL / SQL server to be able to create compatible code.

P2: ADO/Git and release management practices as commonly related to development cycle.

P3: Monitoring / alerting etc nice to have.

P4: Automation tools familiarity is nice to have.

Day to Day Expectation: Day to day expectation is application code conversion for compatibility between Sybase to MS SQL. A lot of the code is in PERL, some of it may be converted to Python (which is the language the team is trying to move towards, for sustainability) but if it is not feasible in some cases, compatible code will have to be created
