We are seeking a talented and experienced Vision Mixer/VMix Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Multi Skilled Technical Operator candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our video production. Responsibilities will include video mixing, managing camera angles and shots, operating video equipment and software, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate broadcast video systems including consoles, routing, and signal processing equipment in studio and remote production settings.
  • Configure and oversee vision mixer, Vmix across control rooms, studios, and transmission systems.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade broadcast video infrastructure, including vision mixer, routers, patch bays, and production automation.
  • Work closely with bulletin directors, producers, and technical teams to execute live and recorded video production with pristine quality.
  • Perform live mixing for TV shows, news, sports, and special events, effects and remote feeds.
  • Train and mentor freelance operators on equipment, workflows, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT, video engineering, and transmission teams for seamless integration.
  • Participate in maintenance schedules, system testing, and broadcast rehearsals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience required in Vision Mixing and 5 Years of exp as Vmix operator
  • Experience of working in production control room environment (PCR/Gallery)
  • Excellent knowledge of Vmix automation.
  • Proficiency in live Vision Mixing,
  • Should be Able to configure the desk (Vmix and Vision Mixer)
  • Creating multiple windows and DVEs.
  • Knowledge of Timeline and Macros in the vision mixing desk are essential.
  • Experience of multi camera events.
  • Proficiency in operating video equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of different camera angles and calling shots.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Plan and execute pre-event and post-event operations meetings.
  • Experience of news direction will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of audio Mixing is also an added advantage.
  • Should have basic knowledge of IT/IP connectivity
