We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React, JavaScript, CSS, and hands-on experience working in microservices-based environments.

The ideal candidate should have experience integrating frontend applications with Java-based backends (Spring Boot / Microservices) and must be capable of building highly responsive and interactive web interfaces.

Position Overview

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development & Architecture

• Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using , JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
• Design and implement reusable UI components and state management using React Hooks, Context API, or Redux.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend logic with Java Spring Boot-based microservices via RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Participate in architectural discussions to design scalable frontend architectures aligned with microservices principles.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and a consistent user experience across multiple platforms and devices.

2. Collaboration & Integration

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, production-ready code.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define data contracts, API payloads, and caching strategies for microservices communication.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure smooth collaboration across teams.

3. Testing, Quality & Code Review

• Implement unit and integration tests using tools like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
• Participate in peer code reviews to uphold quality standards and encourage knowledge sharing.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

4. Microservices & Backend Collaboration

• Understand and work within microservice-based architectures, ensuring that the frontend integrates seamlessly with distributed backend services.
• Collaborate with backend developers to improve API design and handle data efficiently.
• Implement robust API error handling, caching, and state synchronization mechanisms.

5. Performance & Optimization

• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize code for scalability and speed.
• Use techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and bundle optimization to reduce load times.
• Monitor and improve application performance using Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools, or New Relic.

6. Security & Compliance

• Follow secure coding practices and ensure data protection on the frontend.
• Implement authentication and authorization flows using OAuth, JWT, or SSO integrations.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Core Technologies

• Frontend: (Hooks, Context API, Redux), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (Preferred), HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS
• Testing: Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, Cypress
• State Management: Redux, Context API, Recoil (nice to have)
• Build Tools: Webpack, Babel, Vite, NPM/Yarn
• Version Control: Git, GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket

Backend Integration

• Hands-on experience integrating React frontends with Java or Spring Boot microservices.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON data structures.
• Familiarity with API Gateway patterns and frontend-backend communication in distributed systems.

Microservices & Cloud

• Exposure to Microservices Architecture and working in containerized environments (Docker / Kubernetes).
• Understanding of service-to-service communication, versioning, and dependency management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in modern frontend workflows: linting, formatting, and automated builds.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap).
• Experience with performance profiling and debugging React applications.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in cross-functional Scrum teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with or React Server Components.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working on enterprise-grade microservice architectures integrated with Java Spring Boot.
