Job Title: Site Inspector Mechanical (Wind Mill Blades Inspection)

Location: Factory/Port

Experience Required: 2–3 Years

Educational Qualification: bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Quality Inspector to oversee the inspection of windmill blades at factory or port locations.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical inspections, with a strong understanding of wind turbine blades, quality, safety standards, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed pre dispatch inspections of windmill blades at manufacturing and port facilities according to the control plan and work instructions.
  • Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Document inspection findings, including photographs and non-conformance reports.
  • Monitor handling, loading, and transportation conditions to prevent damage during transit.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and calibration of tools during inspection activities.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for identified defects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and quality departments to ensure timely and accurate inspections.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and wind turbine components.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools, techniques, and documentation standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel to factory and port locations as needed.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to perform inspection tasks independently and coordinate with stake holders.
