Java Developer - Spring Boot & Microservices

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of core Java, Spring framework, and modern front-end technologies like React JS. Knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB is also required.

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Core Java (version 8 and above).
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with React JS for front-end development.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications built in React JS.
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the development process.

Category-wise Technical Skills:

• Programming Languages: Core Java (version 8 and above)
• Frameworks and Technologies: Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture
• Front-End Technologies: React JS
• Database: MongoDB (or equivalent NoSQL databases)
• Development Tools: Version control systems (e.g., Git), Build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)

Experience:

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proven experience in developing applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, specifically React JS.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to define application features and specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Java development or related technologies are a plus.
