Job Description (Quality Engineer)
A Quality Engineer ensures that products, processes, and systems meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Working in a 12-hour shift (8 AM – 8 PM), the role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality output throughout production cycles.
Work Schedule
- Shift Timing: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Days: Typically 6 days a week (depending on company policy)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- Identify defects, root causes, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain and update quality documentation (SOPs, checklists, reports).
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, Six Sigma, or other relevant quality frameworks.
- Train operators and staff on quality procedures and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
