About the Role:

We are looking for a Mechanical R&D Engineer who can lead mechanical design and oversee the complete development lifecycle of innovative electro-mechanical products. The role requires a combination of technical design skills and project management abilities to take ideas from concept to final product.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design


• Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems, and assemblies.


• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed fabrication drawings using CAD software.


• Perform structural and motion analysis to ensure performance and durability.


• Collaborate with the electronics and software teams for system integration.


• Optimize designs for manufacturability, ease of assembly, and maintenance.


• Prepare BOMs, design documentation, and prototype build support.

Product Management


• Plan and manage timelines, allocate tasks, and ensure milestones are met.


• Assess feasibility, cost, and time requirements for revisions.


• Manage vendor communication, fabrication orders, and quality assurance.


• Maintain clear documentation and revision history of all updates.


• Drive continuous product improvements based on testing and feedback.

Required Skills & Experience:


• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.


• 0–4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.


• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Ansys or similar CAD software.


• Knowledge of mechanical systems, enclosures, motion components, and IP-rated designs.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to handle multiple design tasks in parallel and meet deadlines.


• Familiarity with robotics, automation, or electro-mechanical assemblies.


• Exposure to industrial design and product ergonomics.
