Marketing Merchandiser

We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially driven Marketing Merchandiser with strong expertise in PVC Tufted Coir Door Mats, with proven experience in handling customers in the US and European markets. The candidate must possess a robust network of importer contacts and be capable of generating confirmed sales orders. This role will directly contribute to revenue generation through effective client handling, product development coordination, and order execution.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

A. Sales Generation & Market Expansion

• Secure confirmed sales orders from importers and retailers in the US and Europe.
• Leverage existing contacts with overseas buyers, importers, wholesalers, and buying agencies.
• Regularly engage with key clients and decision-makers to pitch new product lines.
• Participate in trade shows , Fairs and virtual meetings to generate leads.

B. Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers from the US and Europe.
• Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with importers and buying houses.
• Share timely product updates, seasonal collections, and promotional offers.

C. Product Development & Sampling

• Manage buyer-specific developments — including designs, colorways, and packaging formats.
• Coordinate sampling activities from concept to dispatch, ensuring buyer expectations are met.
• Collaborate with design and printing teams for flocking, stencil, and digital print innovations.

D.Order Management & Execution

• Finalize order details: pricing, delivery terms, payment terms, and packing instructions.
• Monitor TNA (Time and Action) for all orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Liaise with production and quality control teams to meet international standards and client specs.

E. Market Research & Competitive Analysis

• Stay updated on global trends in coir door mats and floor coverings.
• Analyze competitor pricing, product positioning, and promotional strategies in the US & EU markets.

F. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of communication, quotations, order status, and client interactions.
• Share weekly reports with management on inquiries, orders, and market feedback.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4–10 years of experience in marketing/merchandising of coir mats or home textile floor coverings.
• Proven track record of handling US and European buyers and generating sales.
• Must possess direct contact details (email, phone) of active importers/buyers.
• Strong knowledge of PVC tufting, coir mat manufacturing, printing techniques, and packaging formats.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to independently manage buyer accounts from inquiry to shipment.
