Role & Responsibilities

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze business problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner.
  • Proven analysis and design/development skills on AWS platforms.

  • Develop, Test, and Implement the changes following the Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and quality concepts.

  • Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge on AWS Glue/Python/PySpark.

  • Understanding of AWS data/automation services Step functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL projects.
  • Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in GIT code versioning tools.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database (Oracle/PostgreSQL).

  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.

  • Nice to have

  • Working knowledge on job scheduling tools like Autosys etc.

  • Experience in working in an Agile environment.
  • Certification in AWS.
  • Experience in PowerShell/Batch scripts.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks efficiently.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science, IT or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 to 8 years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience on AWS Glue/Python/PySpark
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Glue/PySpark, relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Good understanding of AWS data/automation services Step functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and logical thinking.
